Looking Back, Pt2

These are a few more that have been lingering on my photobucket...

First up is a BA GTHO, obviously still learing back then! (Still am..lol)

And another is a widebody XR8...sorta shocking to look out now, wheels all wonky brushing is dodgy and blurred...

Couple randoms

These were done after a member of fordforums.com.au requested some images done mixing the RS Focus rear diffuser with the BF and FG falcons.

So I did these...

Then did one for the front, the RS insert looked a bit weird, so i tried the current ST focus insert.

FG Time Attack car.

I thought crossed my mind the other day, what would a FG time attack car look like...with out it being a V8 supercar...
Alot of brush work was done, very little cut + paste. (Besides the wheels and interior) more carbon fiber work done aswell for a good measure.

XA GT

One of Australias iconic shapes, the XA falcon. My take on it brings the car to speed hump killing standard and has a 6/71 charger on what i would like to think is a Boss 427ci lol, you can dream!

Got Sil?

This is my first real attempt at adding a bodykit to a car, a combo of both cut+paste. Getting a car on the right angle to supply parts was a challange! To get the front bar looking right I need to resize, distort and rotate and blend it untill it looked real. Then there is getting the colour and reflections looking bang on...

So i went from this Silvia photo (looks to be one of the most chopped on the net lol)

To this...

Silvia Time!

This was more or less experimenting on changing the paint to white, and swapping backgrounds. Oh, how about I try creating carbon fiber while im at it?

So I wnet from this...

...To...this!

Falcon Coupe time!

Its always fun playing "what if" with current models, especially if you're a Falcon Coupe fan!

First attempt was a F6 based coupe, in two phases. First had a normal-sih roofline, and was around the same length,

With the second go, the car was shortend and had the roof lowered, started to look a bit Aston-ish.

Retro time!

Later i worked on a retro X-Series coupe, using elements from the mustang, and of course the mandatory Cobra Version! Little details include a modern take on the Bathurst Globe wheels and morphing the factory styling crease into some air ducts.

Now for some Euro-trash! Been going throught the likes of the Speedhunters and Stanceworks blogs and absorbed the whole flush+dish look. Desided to give some BMW's a hit!

First is a '87 M3 (original image)

Second up is a 760li (Original Image)

Post 2015 Mustang Concept

I was brain storming myself the outher night about what direction the Mustang could go, using current ford design traits. And Take into account mustang design cues etc. It was also A great deal inspired by Fords recent Mad Max Concept. I felt that the current 'retro' Mustangs are to bulky, not as slender as the original '60s verisons. Also, the retro trend I feel has had its day.

I used the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition as A base image, and features from Fords Evos Concept and Current model Taurus SHO.  I chose a Aston as i feel they are very 'muscular' while still being obviously Eruopean. Also the the '66 DBS right through to the '86 Vantage have a very 'Pony' look to them.

VW Amarok

I did this for a comp at Ford Forums, it actually got me back into a choppin' mad mood.

Looking Back, Pt1

This one was largely done on MS paint...i did have a free program called 'Pixia' at the time as well. I'm sure the flame's colouring was done in MS Word (Lol) as i didn't know how to get fades any other way.

I later removed the background and added a supercharger! Again using MS Paint/word...

And for some reason, when the file was uploaded the gamma changed a bit...oh well
Its clear to see that i still had some learing to do!
